Craig Butterworth Accounting is a trading name of Subby Support Ltd. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Subby Support Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.

We normally receive information directly from you. We may share information where necessary with HMRC, Companies House, pension providers and other public or regulatory bodies; accountancy, payroll, tax and practice-management software providers; banks and payment providers; IT, hosting, email, cloud storage, security and identity-verification providers; professional advisers, insurers and debt recovery services; and a new owner or adviser in connection with a legitimate business sale or restructure.

Service providers are required to protect information and may only use it for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information where required by law, a court or a regulator.

Some technology providers may store or process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we use an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections, and take reasonable steps to ensure that information remains protected.

Retention periods vary by record type and may continue after a client relationship ends. When information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.

These include access controls, authentication, secure cloud services, device and software protections, staff confidentiality and appropriate supplier arrangements. No internet-based service can be guaranteed completely secure.
